Product Description for After Swann:

Poet Marthe Reed's text, a numbered series of language collages from Proust's Swann's Way, explores articulations of memory, gender, embodiment, and desire. Fourteen of her poems from that cycle are coupled with animation by Yeon Choi and music by joshua carro, especially composed for this project. Eighteen minutes in length, After Swann is lyrical and dreamlike, moving between the voice of Proust himself and Reed's playful intervention; the text is read by Forrest Roth and the poet.

The complete text of Swann's Way used as a source for this work is translated from the French by C. K. Scott Moncrieff, Henry Holt and Company, 1922, now in public domain.
